I received this to line my bike helmet for colder weather. It fits great - as someone else mentioned, it's long enough to fit my ears. It also fits snugly around the head so it doesn't stray. It doesn't itch at all and is very comfortable. I rode a bike when he was about 20 the day after he arrived. It worked well. However, note that it is NOT windproof. [They don't claim it's windproof, so that's not a problem. Your product works exactly as described.] I am currently looking for a head covering windbreaker to wear over it in strong winds. With this and the windproof layer, I'm fit for cycling and snowshoeing in any weather!
