First of all these shoes are great. The perfect elegant Mary Jane. Nearly. They are, however, dress shoes, and like all beautiful girls' or women's shoes, they are meant to be admired and not worn when much walking is involved. I wouldn't normally pay that much for kids' shoes or buy shoes online without trying them on, but I was desperate. We needed them to match my daughter's outfit and we couldn't find a single Mary Jane in our town that matched her. After a day on her feet, she couldn't wait to take them off. They didn't pinch, but had firm soles and no cushioning whatsoever. Your legs are tired. Because I bought them without seeing the eyes, they were a little big and would slide up and down on her heel, so I secured them with little gel pads from the drugstore. Worked great in golf. The width was perfect and they looked great. When comfort matters more than style, shop Stride Rites. These shoes are best worn for several hours, for example to church, to a party or on the day of a photo shoot. I give three stars because the product is as described and the service was quick. I just had to think harder about how comfortable they would be compared to the price, knowing my daughter would be wearing them for an extended period of time.
