Flew back and forth from New York to MCO (Orlando) at the border with no problems. No one doubted the size, which was about 3 inches larger than the Frontier allows. It easily fit under the seat but stuck out leaving little legroom. It was strong but flexible when needed to "squeeze" for a tighter fit. I bought a large stretcher for our 17lb chag who is quite tall but slim. He slept comfortably during the flight and had room to roll over and "shake off" his anxiety during takeoff and landing. I appreciated the pockets at the end for storing treats that we could slip him a couple of during the flight. We spent about 2 weeks before the flight slowly introducing him to the bag, putting his food in it at mealtimes and also running a few errands, increasing the time with each experience. It helped him tremendously that he survived the flight.
