It is very quiet but the light it emits can disturb the sleep of people who need a dark room. I ended up using an exacto knife to cut the tape to cover the ring around the button area and the button area itself and it definitely helped. I'm not sure, but I ordered after another reviewer mentioned that she got one where they turned the lights off. I'm wondering if it got a newer one due to the Revain warehouse it was shipped from, or if it's just a bad light. Also, it doesn't seem to turn itself off when empty since the light stays on until I turn it off in the morning. Also, the execution time is inflated; when i wake up it is always completely empty and i sleep 6-7 hours a night.
