These are the WORST hair ties I have ever used and I have used several brands and types of these little hair ties. I tried using them every way I could and they broke either while wrapping my hair or within half an hour of application. If I can finish styling my hair without tearing the elastics; after a few minutes I hear a faint popping sound or feel something breaking; and the group left and ruined my hair efforts. I've tried wrapping the tape around the hair less often, more often, with varying amounts of hair; All with the same result - the rubber bands broke. This is so disheartening as I have long hair, I spend at least half an hour each day styling it and I use at least two elastic bands a day. Since I've had them, I've been going through 10-12 groups a day until I gave up and bought others on the spot. Also, the jar in the box was open when I received it and I had to collect almost all of them from the bottom of the big box.
