I got this for a gala at work. I have received many compliments. I didn't feel like I was embracing the cultural design and that it was quite typical of the Texas Bolo. The cable has a plastic feel but is easy to swap out. The lock on the back wall perfectly prevents slipping. Really comfortable, didn't see any glue.
