So far, so good. I just received them today. I've already washed them. I have chosen not to wash them in the dishwasher but to hand wash them. Many reviewers show pictures of cracked cup bases and mention rusting or lid failure. I hope these tumblers work. The quality seems to be there. But if they don't hold up to average wear and tear I'll update my review. By the way, if someone has rust on their stainless steel glass and sending it back isn't an option for you, Arm and Hammer toothpaste with baking soda does a great job of getting rid of the rust. My husband gets a jar as a gift from his employer and sometimes it has the shape of rust on the inside. Obviously, no one wants rust in the mug they are drinking from. So try some Arm and Hammer toothpaste with baking soda, grab your toothbrush, and then use the toothpaste and brush to scrub the rust stain until it's gone. This should help ensure that what you have is at least actionable. Hope this helps someone.
