LOVE the color! - Legacy systems

I got this for my son as a main Christmas present last year because he asked for 3DS games and my husband didn't want to share his system with him in case they both wanted to play and also because some game files are stored in the system. I chose this one because there aren't many color options and it felt like a decent color to me. It is very beautiful and just like the pictures on the internet! I also used my Cricut and made a decal of Yoshi's head and his name in pixelated font! I took a picture that still doesn't show the color, it's much lighter and it's a shimmery green instead of an off-white opaque. This is not a game for girls so don't worry it will look girly just because it has shimmer. It comes preloaded with Super Mario World which is actually a big plus for us because there is one less game to lose or damage and even though we have the game you can only have 3 save files but there are 4 People in our family who play it so it helps a lot! It was a nice perk, although that's not why we chose this particular system. He loves it and can take it anywhere because it is so small and portable. I prefer that he bring this place over his iPad because it's cheaper for one but also less likely to break or get damaged. I bought him a case to fit him at a local store, along with his games and cables. I'm giving it 4 stars because 3DS XL systems do NOT have cables for some really stupid reason. I remember older Game Boy systems could use batteries OR a charging cable so no cables were included which makes sense. My previous DSI XL came wired as there is no way to change the batteries, it's just a rechargeable lithium ion battery. I assumed that was the case this time as well. I bought the first 2 for my husband and I when we were upgrading from DSI XL systems and I was wrong, literally everything in the box is the system, a pen and cards that you can use to play with the system to play. The DSI XL came with two styluses and one thick pen-like stylus. Not sure why they now include less for more money but I think they do. Luckily the charging cables that came with our DSI XL systems work with these systems so we didn't have to buy new ones, but we did have to buy 2 for baby systems so we each have our own cable. I just can't believe for the price it doesn't come with a cable, it's such a cheap item and you can probably get it for under $10 when it's on sale at Revain. I paid about $15 when I bought these for the kids.
