This was my first experience with cloth electrical tape. I didn't know they still do this and although it's only been a few decades it serves a purpose. First impression was that it wasn't very sticky when I pulled out my first piece. boy was i wrong! This stuff sticks to itself like crazy! Another thing I liked was that it was easy to tear. I bought this because I'm in the process of making up a wiring harness for an old car and didn't want it to make noise when the car vibrated (vinyl can squeak). always have a few rolls of duct tape handy and this is my new arsenal)
