You cannot remove the link without damaging the link pin hole.
This is a ceramic bracelet. There are no arrows on the ribbon indicating which way to remove the pins on the ribbon in order to resize the ribbon (remove the link). Once you remove the pin. The pin hole is enlarged and the pin no longer holds the band together. In other words, the hole is getting too big. So you basically can't remove the link to make it a bad fit as the pin will fall out and the watch will fall off your wrist. There were no instructions included.
