I have such hair, very thick, has its own mind (can you say whirlwind?) and prickly. It's hard to tame, and after trying many products that *say* strong hold, I was disappointed that they fell off after a few hours or didn't hold my coarse Asian hair at all. But not this lipstick! I put it on first thing in the morning, did a two-hour hike up the mountain in the scorching sun, then came home and ran a wet comb through my hair to tidy it up for the upcoming Zoom call. The hold held and my hair is tamed. I am happy! However, I would say that the downside to this extreme hold is that it doesn't leave your hair feeling soft, but I would put that down to unruly hair.
