UPDATE: Since I've owned the chairs for a week now I've noticed myself slipping out of my chair. I have to secure my feet firmly on the footrest to prevent this. On Saturday we had guests who told me that they, too, were slipping off their chairs. We received the chairs on time. Assembling the chairs was easy. All necessary tools/bolts/screws were provided. It took about 1.5 hours to assemble four chairs. The chairs feel well built and sturdy and look great in the breakfast area and bar. One thing I noticed though: the wooden backrest on one of the chairs felt rough. It was not properly sanded and varnished. I am concerned that items of clothing may get caught on the chair. I will contact the manufacturer to solve the problem.
