It's definitely for short people and 5'1" is just what I was looking for. They just came together and although there were broken parts in the box, compromised nothing interfered with reassembly.A clip on one of the armrests broke after one use (but it still works, taped to keep it in place.) However, after two weeks of sitting 8 hours a day, there would be more padding on the seat base definitely help.and be sure to flip it.it doesn't always go where I move it and it tends to tip over if you sit too far forward without a footrest to compensate.for the price its half the price a chair designed specifically for short people, but I feel like I sacrificed a lot to save that money.
