Looking for a waterproof running jacket. Stumbled across this one which (IMO) appears to be a slightly cheaper version of the Outdoor Research Apollo jacket. I'm a fairly sturdy US female, size 16/18 with a 38C bust. I originally ordered a size 2XL (44-47.5 inches) expecting it to be large enough to wear a hoodie or sweater underneath. He was MUCH bigger. Really too big. I sent it back and ordered XL 16-18. (42.5-44.5 inches) instead. That's great. The armpit vents are perfect for running so I don't overheat. The adjustable hood is very handy to better adjust the hood to my head. (Hoods always tend to fall in my face, but this one doesn't.) The material seems quite durable and the zippers are waterproof too. I may not have read the original description carefully enough, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that by turning the left pocket inside out, you can easily tuck the entire jacket inside and zip it up for the backpack. . I LOVE this jacket and recommend it to my running friends. The ONLY suggestion I make is that you don't look at the size tag when it arrives. The original jacket I ordered was marked 2XL (since it was online too). The replacement I ordered online was XL but when it arrived it was marked as 3XL on the bag, retail tags and sewn in tag. However, it was DEFINITELY smaller than 2XL. So don't be upset (like I originally was) if you order XL and the tag says 3XL. Just choose your online order size and how it suits you. I LOVE this jacket!
