Review on Delta Faucet RP10799 Diverter Assembly by Sean Webb

If you have an old Delta faucet, buy it and NOT another brand (Danco). I was about to tear out the wall to replace the entire faucet because I just couldn't get the diverter valve to work. I would exchange the item. It would be almost impossible to slide it into place and then in a week or two the rubber will hopelessly bite and start leaking again. It turns out that the Danco valve is just a tad larger than the real Delta part, and the rubber covering the hole is softer on the other brand part, causing it to chew and fail. I don't know why it took me 20 years to figure this out, but I'm glad I finally have a properly working shower!
