I'm amazed at how picky people can be about stirrers! These work great! I've used about 50 so far and have come across one or two that were a bit ugly and crooked, but each stirred my coffee, didn't break, didn't feel pliable, and didn't leave a bad aftertaste. If you buy them for crafting, you'll likely find a few that you won't like, but just a few and you're still getting a good bang for your buck. It's a little reassuring to know that I'm filling the landfill with tiny, biodegradable pieces of wood — instead of tiny, timeless pieces of plastic. A true eco-warrior would just twirl his hot liquids with his fingers and weep righteous tears, but I'm just sticking with it. It's easier to buy more sticks than to treat all those finger burns.
