Review on Anker Powerline+ II Lightning Cable (6Ft) by John Bailey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This travel-friendly cable lasts LONG.

My experience with Anker products has been amazing. This one was no different. I'm not new to bulk buying cheap Lightning cables. The problem, however, is that most of them fall apart within a month of use. This is where this cable sets itself apart from all the others. You can read the product specs in the description so I'll save you time and get straight to what you're looking for - user experience. Pros: Braided line feels very durable. Maybe it can be used as a tug of war if you have a rope long enough. There is a rubber protector on the neck where the cable and connection heads are located. In my personal experience, the cable usually breaks first. The travel case has a hard shell and protects the cable while it is in the bag. This cable charges my phone very quickly. Cons: None. Final Thoughts. A: The price can be a major concern for people. Trust me choose this one out of 6 cheap cables made of inferior material. Anker designed this cable with durability in mind - this cable has reinforced all the weak points of a traditional Lightning cable with the added bonus of a Velcro closure. I would highly recommend this cable to anyone, especially those who are tired of constantly changing their Lightning cable.

Pros
  • Amazing Strength: One of the strongest cables ever made, with a tensile strength that can hold up to 175 pounds.
Cons
