I ordered this motor because the unit was not working properly in my truck. it was very easy to replace. I crawled under the truck, removed the rock guard. Drive shaft unscrewed. removed the shaft from the transfer case. unscrewed old block. and then insert a new one. return everything in reverse order. it was instant. and it works great. It's been years since my 4x4 worked properly. and that's the difference. excellent goods!
