I decided against the proposal
It is NOT recommended to use a FAN with vertical "wings" in the product. Well I decided to give it a try anyway and they WORK great. Is it easy to mount them vertically I was going to say 3 stars out of 5 but that would be unfair as it suggests that this should not be done. I have two in my car, my wife uses one and I use the other. It took me a bit of work to get the angle and position right, but once I did it held up.
