The first thing that confused me was the power requirements. Despite using a 1A USB socket on the battery, 2A on the laptop and 0.5A on the TV to power the dongle, the TV screen kept warning about connecting to a 1A power source. Really weird stuff and the only screen mirroring I could adjust was choppy. Return item, I got a much better quality and no fuss with a long HDMI cable.
