I am planning to use this case for a trip to the islands. After testing its water resistance and functionality, I am confident that my iPhone will be well protected. The manufacturer suggests testing your new case right away by placing a folded paper towel in it and then soaking it under water for 30 minutes. what I did, except I took it a step further by letting it submerge for 6 hours. When I opened the case, the paper towel was dry as a desert. Not a drop of water or moisture. There were no issues with the iPhone's touchscreen when in the case, and the side buttons were easy enough to use when needed. The only exception was the ability to use the "mute" switch on my iPhone. It's not exactly available when your phone is in the case. But to protect my phone from water, sand and/or dirt, this feature is irrelevant. Simple design, easy to use, definitely waterproof, great product.
