I think the point is you get what you pay for. The fan looks like a direct replacement and is identical in every way. I have been building and repairing computers for many years and know that the installation was done correctly using the correct vibration plates and screw fasteners. After four and a half months, the fan began to grind very loudly every time the computer was switched on. It's not a hard drive as I have a solid state drive. The only other component that can cause this kind of noise in a laptop is the fan. At this time I would not recommend this product based on my experience.
