Limited use for outdoor recreation
Bought this for hiking west in the snow. they worked well at best. The spikes are too small to be effective on snow. If you are in deep snow or on a glacier, get studs with longer studs. These are very light (that's why I bought them) but fell off a couple of times while climbing a boulder. If you use light ice they may work for you.
