I just installed them on my 2014 Subaru Outback. love the lights Very tight spot on my car. You need to tighten the tire. Pull out about 14 plastic rivets, which are fairly easy to remove with a wider-than-normal screwdriver. Make sure you have an emergency brake and rear wheel stopper when jacking up your car. Then install the support leg for safety. You need to take cover with a quarter turn to the left. Note or use a marker to mark the direction the cover is facing before removing it. I took a picture of the lamp base with my phone to see how to install the lamp cord holder. Disconnect the power cord by simply pulling it back. Then remove the bulb socket by pushing it down and then up. Take photos before and after unplugging. Take out the old lightbulb. It should say H7. Look at your LED and you will see a black ring that looks like an H7 bulb socket. Round with and offset. Now remove the black round bracket from the LED lamp by turning it slightly to the left and then unscrew it. Note which side the black ring is facing when inserting this ring where the lamp/cartridge enters the socket. The break should be in the socket for 7-8 hours. Doesn't spin when it's right. Then slide this locking ring over the black ring and secure. The bottom locking wire lever must be pulled down with the needle tip when it is on the lamp ring. Grab the end and pull down. You should use a flashlight to see if the metal lever is on the bottom side of the black ring. Now install the LED into the black ring you just installed. The LED should be inserted with the LED power cable protruding. This will arrange the LED lights side by side. . Move it slightly to the right to fix the bulb. I really practiced before attaching the black ring of the LED bulb. Check if the light works. If not, just pull the power cord, twist and turn it back on and the light will work. Install the cap a quarter turn clockwise. Reverse process to put the tire back on. If you install an LED downlight that is NOT wired up, the LED bulbs will face up and down. NOT what you want. With the wire raised, the headlights are fixed left and right. Remember that the black LED ring should be pointing in the same direction that you took it off. This can happen in two ways and result in your LED light being positioned sideways or incorrectly up and down. The temperature of the LED bulb and the OLD bulb. The highest temperature for LED lighting was 138 degrees; OLD light 276 degrees. LED is 50% cooler. Brilliant! . If you have any questions, just ask.
