Glad I didn't wait for the new version of OBD 11, I would have just spent more money. all i wanted was to be able to use apps to make some changes, no pro version, no long coding. I checked the OBD software on my phone after downloading it to see what apps are suitable for my 2016 Tiguan. Dongle arrived today. easily connected. first app to try - auto lock all doors when key is not in car - requires keyless entry/start which I have. lights not supported. then I open/close the windows from the key fob, it doesn't light up. Lower rearview mirror when reverse gear lights up is not supported. Convenience turn signal light not supported - REALLY, the turn signal is not supported. It turns out none of the things I wanted to do that are listed in the apps for my car can be done. Tried adding a gauge needle reamer - took my credits but didn't change anything; Tried to add oil temp to driver info panel - just rotated on my phone for 5 minutes with no change. Very disappointed and misleading. He scanned my car for codes. I added new speakers a few days ago and one of the tweeter wires was pinched, so it showed a short. I was able to delete it. gave the product a 2 for this and I'll leave it to code scanning, but it didn't do anything I expected after reading about it online and looking at the software as suggested. almost a waste for me.
