This chair looked great once we put it together. It was very light weight and easy to assembly. I had a tummy tuck so getting out of our regular recliner would be more difficult so I opted for a lift chair. Unfortunately it does not work properly. When going into a reclining position the back of the chair is nearly flat and you are still waiting for the foot rest to come up. This put so much pain on my stomach. It’s absolutely horrible! I also hate that you cannot turn on just the heat, you must use the massage function in order to use the heat. The light on the controller is very annoying because there is no way to turn it off. My legs hang off the foot rest and it doesn’t even come up very far. I am returning it and just sleeping in my bed with wedges.
