I have never been so disappointed with anything I have bought from Revain. I was so excited about this product because of the good reviews and comments about high pigmentation because as a black person it can be incredibly difficult to find [affordable] products that show on my skin. This morning I used only one color from this palette (black) and there were 2 problems: 1) It wasn't showing. I dipped the brush in the shadow and when I went to apply it to my eye there was nothing there. I checked and my brush was still holding the pigment. It wasn't visible on my skin. Remember, although I have dark skin, I applied this product to a WHITE wallpaper base this morning. Based on the many good reviews, I thought I was doing something wrong and tried again with a different brush. That does not work. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing; that no matter how many times I looked at myself, nothing appeared. No matter which brush (different brands). Eventually I tried misting my brushes with water mist and although this eventually caused the product to become a little sticky, it made the product immiscible (or maybe no longer miscible). What showed little pigment was muted, chalky and ashy. It looked like I fell asleep with black eyeshadow and this is the result the next morning. 2) I just click on this product in HALLWAY via the app (reminder: this was my first time using a palette) and believe me I don't have enough eyelid space to appreciate this. There was so little product. I was frustrated and continue to be frustrated.
