Review on πŸ’† Revitalize and Protect Skin with StriVectin Super-B Barrier Strengthening Oil - 1 Fl Oz by Leah Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Light drying oil with a light aroma; Contains coconut oil and rosemary

StriVectin is a fairly expensive product (as of this writing, the premium cosmetic price is $72). This is a beautifully packaged 1 ounce glass dropper in an ombre pink to purple color. Inside is a transparent, liquid, light yellow, nutritious "dry" oil. I say drying oil as it doesn't leave my combination skin sticky, shiny or greasy and absorbs almost instantly. I use 3-4 drops and build up. This face oil has a mild added scent that isn't terrible but I found it unnecessary and unappealing. Smells old fashioned, like my grandma's dressing table. Think musty dead flowers mixed with something soft and medicinal. Other than that I love the application, use and feel of this oil. It contains a beneficial blend of oats, some fermented compounds, rice, sunflower oil, jojoba, etc. Unfortunately, due to coconut oil (prone to acne), added fragrance (unnecessary, and I don't like the fragrance used) and sensitizing rosemary (rosacea ). I feel this face oil could have been better without these ingredients, but I can still easily apply it to other parts of my body (e.g. hands, arms, legs, feet, nails, hair). All different. For some, sunflower seeds, rice, and oats might be the deal breaker, and they might like the extra flavor. you make yourself While it doesn't meet my skin's needs, that doesn't mean it's not worth trying. For adding a bit of moisture and nourishment to my hair and nails, this works great.
