This is a fairly simple product, a solid piece of plastic on a rope. I doubt I'll have any problems with the seat at all. The rope can wear out over time, but it's easy to replace if I want to when it does. The only reason I'm not giving the full five stars is that installing the product may not work in all situations. I have several daughters who all want to use it, meaning it has to be tall enough that the older one doesn't drag but low enough that the younger one can still get through. This didn't leave much room to maneuver and finding the right height was difficult. Then when I did it the rope slipped and fell so I had to do it again. I had to wrap it around another branch in an odd direction to get the right amount of rope at the top. I think I could shorten it to fit, but I was able to figure it out. I love the swing as a fun alternative to the full swing.
