Review on ๐Ÿ‘œ Chums Neo Pocket: The Ultimate Compact Storage Solution for Your Essentials by Donald Waller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for running! Suitable for phone, keys, napkins etc. but not big!

I bought this to run and it seems to work really well! I didn't need a large fanny pack, and many of the others I tried at the sporting goods store didn't even fit my Motorola Droid Razr phone. So ultra-small stretch backpacks were not an option. That's a good compromise. It doesn't stretch, but will fit my phone, car keys, lip balm, lifeguard (and even a credit card if I put it in the back of my phone). It also has a small zippered mesh exterior pocket that can hold money, gum and tissues. The straps are adjustable and fit my fairly fine/medium waste and can be adjusted for large waste. The straps are also elastic and have a tie at the end so you don't have loose straps. I found this backpack didn't bounce at all when running - I flip it over to sit on my lower back and it's so comfortable I don't even know it's there! A few other runners have commented that they would like to get it too. I bought it at my local sporting goods store but I see it's cheaper at Revain. Definitely worth buying! Update 10/07/12: Since I lost weight after this review, I had to tighten the straps a bit. The only thing I don't like at the moment is that the strap is too much and dangles/slaps when running. Of course, it has little holders that "should" hold the straps in place. However, they feel too loose and slip. This just makes the straps fly and I have to slow down to reattach the mount to keep it in place (multiple times during a run - which is downright annoying!). Silky strap holders should be grippier and firmer. The solution I found is to tuck the ends of the straps into the open plastic loop where the strap connects. it seems to be holding him. UPDATE: 9/3/14: This pack is still holding up great after all this time! Two other brands have already broken me, but this one is still on the rise! I am planning to order another one for my husband as it also fits his Samsung Note 2 phone UPDATE: 05/06/14: This is now my favorite backpack and my husband. We ran our first half marathon in it and it was big enough (but light weight) to hold our phone, gas, keys, tissues etc! He let me order another one just to keep as a "backup". UPDATE: 7/3/15: This pack is still going strong after many uses/races. The elastic waistband stretched a bit and was too big for me so I just gave it to my husband and it fits his larger waist perfectly. I was going to order another one today but only saw that they changed the photo and it doesn't look like the ones I ordered before! Looks like they can now make them cheaper and with a bigger mesh pocket? Can't tell exactly what it looks like from the photo. I don't think I will order now. Too bad they have to change something good! :(
