I like and dislike this camera. Pros: It takes really good pictures. The quality is similar to Rebel DSLRs like the t3/t4 etc. The touchscreen works very well, allows you to zoom in etc which is really nice when you're used to it on smartphones and tablets. The menu system is very similar, if not identical, to that of their DSLR cameras. So once you're used to it, you'll find it very easy to use this camera's menus. It's very light and combined with the 22mm lens you can get for this mount, it's extremely portable and takes great pictures. I was shooting in the studio with a hot shoe to fire studio flashes and I got really great shots where it was difficult to tell my 24-70 2.8 II lens apart from a Canon 6D DSLR. Also, your model thinks you're an idiot :) She doesn't have a built-in flash. I know a camera that small shouldn't have one anyway because red-eye would be a problem. It's too easy to press the mode dial at the top and switch to video mode, etc. It wouldn't be so annoying if you could switch modes more quickly. The battery life is pretty bad. compared to a mirror. Battery drain is high, probably because it doesn't have a viewfinder and uses a large LCD for everything. And the battery is very small, since there is no space in the case for a larger one. So I would definitely invest in extra batteries. The good news is that there are really cheap third-party batteries that work well with them. I bought 2 of these and now I have 3 batteries that I charge before shooting. Without a viewfinder, it's difficult to see what you're capturing or recording when you're outside in the sun.
