I was a little surprised that the belt clip had to be attached to the bag the wrong way round to use the footrest. This is a bit cumbersome, but has the benefit of making the device light and relatively thin when the stand isn't attached. It's not a super protective case, but it's nice that this little device stays light and very comfortable to use with one hand. I wouldn't want my iPhone to have a case like this, but it works well for an iPod.
