Advantages: Thanks to the solid state drive, the laptop starts up very quickly. Runs every game I play on the highest settings. Well-lit and comfortable keyboard. nice screen. Battery life is acceptable for a gaming laptop, around 4-5 hours for schoolwork. Change keyboard color. Feels like a solid aluminum body. Light. Cons: I've read about this, although the graphics card is capable of running VR; There are some difficulties when working with virtual reality. I haven't tried this myself, but you might want to research this before buying. The speakers are a little quieter than I would have liked. I use the headset while gaming, so that's hardly a problem.
