The system was relatively easy to install. The video appears as soon as I flip it and the video quality is good. I installed it in a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. It was easy to connect the power wires to the tail light wiring. The only issue I had was attaching the camera itself. The top of the bumper where the label is located is no higher than the license plate. There was no flat surface at the top of the bumper to attach a camera or attach mounting screws. So the only way to mount the camera was to stick it on the back of the license plate. The camera mount should really have longer tabs. I used the included suction cup to attach the monitor to the windshield just above the rear view mirror. After tucking away and hiding the USB cable, I found that the cable was too short. So you need to buy a longer USB cable. In general, I am satisfied with the system. Update September 1, 2019 My camera/monitor stopped working after just a month. I contacted the seller and he immediately sent me a new one. I would have deducted a few more stars if it wasn't for the amazing support and communication I received from the sellers. The new box contained a card that urged the buyer to contact them first instead of leaving negative feedback. I was wondering how true the Revain reviews are. One day it just stopped working. I tried swapping out the power cord and plugging it into a different power source. This time I'm reducing my rating to one star after two new camera failures. Don't believe all the positive reviews. I do not recommend this camera.
