Great for motorcycling. I have a pair of thick gloves that I use for cold weather riding, but they do get a little warm when riding in cold weather. My other pair of mid-weight gloves are short enough to keep the cold wind up my sleeves. My jacket fits in them for a much more comfortable ride. I've only had them recently so I don't know how long they will last after a few years of use.
