This product annoyed me a little at first, but only because I didn't want to create another account. I was able to set it up with a network cable, connect to my router and access it from my desktop using the Chrome browser. I then wanted to be able to access it with a web browser over Wi-Fi. I could not do it. I contacted support and they called me and CJ walked me through. The key to accessing it is changing the Wi-Fi settings on your phone or device to connect directly to the extender. Usually, the name you want to find in the list of Wi-Fi devices you want to connect to is the same as your router's name with the -ext suffix at the end. From there you can change all settings of the repeater with a web browser. In my case I wanted to disable the 2.5GHz signal and enable the much faster 5GHz signal. I use this device to turn on my Samsung Smart TV which only uses 2.5GHz WiFi or network cable. So I have an extender connected to my TV with a network cable and I only allow the extender to connect to my 5GHz signal, effectively giving my Samsung Smart TV a 5GHz connection.
