Review on Polished Formulated Camellia Exfoliation Skincare by Anita Fernandez

Wonderful scrub with a different twist

This is a different type of scrub for the face. The scrub in it is just sugar crystals that melt when you rub it into your skin. It works like an exfoliant that feels a little gentler than something with walnut shells or the like, although each of them works as hard on your skin as the pressure you put on it. It has a rather thick consistency, like paste. If you rub it on your face you can feel the hard sugar rubbing off your skin. It works best on at least damp skin, and even better when it's warm, as rubbing the scrub over the face seems to help the sugar melt or dissolve. It does an excellent job of removing dead skin and dirt. I let it sit and dry for a few minutes before taking a warm washcloth and wiping it off. Since it's sugar, it makes the skin a little sticky and takes a little longer to wash off than some other facial cleansers. After it washed off my skin was just glowing and felt great. It was a bit tight but not dry at all and didn't show any red stains even an hour after washing it off. Everything seemed crisp and clean and ready to soak up moisturizer. It is recommended to use this sugar scrub once or twice a week. This gives your skin a break from other cleansers you may be using on a daily basis, helps moisturize it a little and brightens it up. It's a great thing, although a little different than anything I've tried in the past. It cleanses, exfoliates great and does it without drying my face out or causing red marks on my face. This is a great product at a very affordable price. It could probably be used as a body scrub but the price is a bit high for applying it all over the body.
