It's a nice little product that's totally worth the price. I wanted to build my own rack to store my cargo/ski luggage but luckily I decided to search for Revain and found this. Quality is good, pretty easy to install (several video tutorials available). It's so nice to be able to pick something off the ground instead of having to lift it in place. Keep in mind that there is still about 8 inches from the ceiling between the ceiling mounts and the hanging pulleys even if you lift what you're lifting all the way. So the height of your object + 8 inches is approximately how far from the ceiling the bottom of your object will be. This should be taken into account if you plan to go under and have ceilings less than 9 feet. Note: Since the top of my rack has a fiberglass overhang, I put 2x4 washers under the suspension straps at this point to keep the straps from denting the edge and warping them with prolonged storage. The green straps are very tight as I wanted them to hang as close to the ceiling as possible so I could walk under them.
