I ordered this Macbook case in coral. I wasn't sure if it would be translucent and show the Apple logo like the product image. It turned out to be opaque. When an apple is burning you can see it, but I don't think most people notice. I got a few surprised looks when people saw the front and realized it was a Macbook. My understanding is that outsiders don't need to know what brand of laptop I'm using, so an opaque material is fine. It's a really beautiful color and I've had a lot of compliments and questions about where I got it from. The "soft touch" makes it less slippery and more durable in my opinion than my previous case which was a translucent hard plastic. I also like the thin silicone keyboard case that I received. I didn't expect to use it, but I finally did. I found the coating felt even better under my fingers than protecting my keyboard from crumbs. Very happy with this purchase.
