This phone holder feels very solid at this point, but still allows me to easily use my phone's touchscreen. The mount is unique and does not interfere with the steering wheel at all. Once in place, hand tighten the cable tie like a pull-tab, leave it loose and screw in the nut, which tightens and ensures it doesn't come loose. Definitely better than using velcro for an attachment point. The plastic tab that the holder slides onto also feels solid, but I'm not sure if I'd ride a mountain bike or a road bike with it, although that's fine. attach and leave overnight. Problem solved. The anti-glare screen does its job well in the Texas sun, but doesn't look any more impressive than a small steering wheel TV. You bought a big phone and won an obscenely large mount for your bike. It has no room for a bike pump or tools, just your key fob, some cash and a card. However, this is advertised in terms of storage capacity. So if you're looking for a sturdy steering wheel mount for huge phones, I recommend it. Water: I don't know, so I can't consider that aspect. Maybe someone unwise can look with their water skin. However, it comes with a rain cover that prevents you from seeing the screen. This may not be an issue if you're cycling in a downpour.
