The plastic lid is way too stiff, making it hard to open sealed containers

The plastic used in for the lid is too stiff, which makes it difficult to open a sealed container. I've purchase other containers from this company and the lids were way more flexible. With these it's a fight to get it off, leading to occasional spills. In some cases I've ended up damaging the container itself because the lid ridge was too firm.Otherwise these are fine but you need to be extra careful when opening sealed containers to avoid spilling or breakage.

These worked perfect for our annual strawberry freezer jam. Highly recommend
