Review on Tommy Hilfiger Jackson Casual Brown Men's Accessories and Belts - Stylish and Versatile Additions for the Modern Gentleman by Dushawn Walker

Revainrating 1 out of 5

TH belts are no longer real leather (PHOTOS)

In the introduction to this review I have to say that my rating is based on the standard. I bought this particular belt 12 years ago in 2006. Since then I've worn this belt almost every day or every other day, which means I've worn this belt conservatively for 10-14 hours for 2190 days. This belt is still in relatively good condition. In addition, the skin is still quite beautiful. I've worn it to heavy rains, paint parties, etc. This belt has literally seen it all. It's also probably one of the oldest things I wear to this day. With all that being said I was stunned when I decided to order another one to keep in case the old one gets destroyed or wear out in any way and was given the belt from Revain. The new version of this belt is TERRIBLE. I bought a Tommy Hilfiger black leather belt two years ago and was disappointed with the quality. I thought I just bought a belt they had outsourced to some crappy store to sell at Macy's. The Brown Belt 2018 has the exact same vinyl finish as the Black Belt. I've attached some photos comparing the new and old brown belt, and the black belt with a two year wear (and this one I've worn maybe 1-3 days a week for the last two years (208-10 -10 years) 14 hours of wear)). You can see that the newer ones have this fake vinyl material covering the fronts (if you take the belt and bend it in the opposite direction as if it were wrapped around the waist you will see that the surface material sticks together. Real leather won't admit that air collects under such a thin layer and that layer crumples up, there's real leather on the back of the belt, but it's glued onto this fabric core, which is covered in this man-made vinyl, I think that means manufacturers can call it "genuine leather." They were asked to state what percentage of genuine leather the "leather" parts of the product were not genuine leather, as I expected from their 12 year old product that I bought finally bought for the brand understand i find it really hard when a product is from a higher quality manufacturer the structured process / material depends on what pe But rfect is a different category.
