This belt is a strong, stiff mesh material that doesn't feel great but will likely never wear out. The buckle was good but within 48 hours it was scratched - hung in the closet most of the time so must scratch very easily. It was a bummer. The belt is very long and can be shortened. I cut it too short and now it doesn't fit anymore. I used my old belt as a guide so I don't know how that happened. I know it's my fault but I wish they would just sell small, medium and large or by waist size like everyone else instead of relying on the customer to cut it. So now I've had it for a few days and it's too short and scratched so I regret not buying it. Unless you're a super-perfect surveyor and graceful with your buckles, I wouldn't recommend this.
