I bought 3 of these candle sets because I needed 12 candles and the price per set was reasonable. The only reason I kept these candles was because of the rectangular base. The more common round bases are too big for half my sashes, but these fit perfectly. The candle is made of off-white plastic and the flame effect is good, although a lot darker than I expected. The size of the base is great, it's a flat, black, sturdy piece of plastic that won't tip over. Of the 12 candles, the timer for 3 doesn't work at all and you have to turn it on and off manually. So the only selling point for me is the base of these candles, other than that they are fine.
