used for 2 years with Canon 500 sold it with a camera and two other lenses, changed to 60d +24 - 105 f4 L and speedlite 580 ex this set works fine in any conditions, but a year later I bought 50 again because it just has to be ( sometimes we can’t replace it) I can’t say that I’m a professional, just an amateur, my opinion is that this lens is just super in terms of price-quality ratio, and if you need a portrait and blur the background, then I put on 50.
