Impressive with additive manufacturing products

Failed to load media. Update: I've found that any Cubic brand polymer resin available from Revain works best in this printer. This is my first resin printer and I have to say that I am not only completely impressed with the build quality of the printer but also with the results of my prints after simply following the basic setup instructions and using it right out of the box. The printer comes very well packaged and a lot heavier than I expected, it was 99% assembled and only needed to tighten a few things and adjust to sleep before I was ready to go. First print The first print was by far the hardest as I am totally new to resin work but after a few YouTube videos I was ok. The problems I had were mostly caused by using the slicer at 2k resolution since that was the default. After figuring out how to set it to 4k I was fine. It was my fault for using the default settings in the slicer and not setting the resin properly. I believe the stick was set at 4 seconds and the resin used took 4-6 seconds. Once I increased it to 6 seconds the problem was solved. Maintenance and cleaning I have to say I haven't thought about cleaning and maintaining this printer, there are several videos and forum posts that make resin printing seem like a nightmare, but honestly it's not that bad. Just put on your gloves and take your time, it's really not that bad. FDM printing vs. resin-based printing. My FDM printers like Ender and Wanhao are always legible and can produce good prints, but they can have all sorts of problems and need constant tweaking. This resin printer is pretty much click and go, it produces beautiful prints but they are really brittle compared to PLA+ or PETG. I've attached several increased resolution shots, one with a flat surface and another with a curved surface, before and after the IPA wash. Noise This thing is no louder than my old Xbox 360 or Dell computer, the fan is the loudest part. Although you can hear me, it's easy to get lost in other background noise. Overall I am more than happy with my purchase and can't wait to see what else Flash Forge/Voxelab will come up with in the future.
