I bought this on a whim, I know a lot of people with wands so I decided to give in to peer pressure. Using the magic wand is quite simple and convenient, just two buttons (power and mode). The shaking is quite powerful, it massages the muscles quite effectively. There are multiple modes, the standard three levels of shaking followed by various "pulse" modes. The variety is decent, definitely nothing to complain about even if I only use the first three modes. The only thing that bothers me is that sometimes the lid comes off. This really only happens on the highest settings when moving the device, but can be annoying. The battery life is very efficient, I used it once for almost 30 minutes at a time without any problems. I can't imagine using it for more than one session. In general I am very satisfied with the purchase.
