600 Threads My Leg! More like 200 threads in 3-ply threads. I washed it on a delicate setting, dried it on a low setting and there was a huge hook right in the middle. And the thread hanging from the duvet cover is a good size, not flimsy at all. There is also a small hole at the base of the driftwood. So if I cut it off, I guess the whole thing will just unravel. He's also very prickly. I know that cotton gets softer over time. I've always had cotton sheets and duvet covers. I know exactly how prickly they start, but I can assure you. This one will never be as soft as some of my cheaper duvet covers. Very disappointed. I'm not even sure if quality cotton is currently available from Revain.
