Review on Vichy Neovadiol Compensating Complex Day Moisturizer: Ultimate Replenishing Care for Your Skin by Amber Berry

I've been using Peach and Lily's Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Moisturizer all day and was obsessed with it at first. But lately I just don't feel like it's moisturizing like it should and the consistency is quite runny. I don't do my makeup at home and I often put on another layer of moisturizer because the first one wasn't enough. Then I saw the Vichy ad and went to Revain to read the reviews. Although I'm not postmenopausal (yet), I felt like my skin could benefit from this moisturizer given its very, very dry nature and my mom and maternal grandmother are aging prematurely. I could have inherited it and if I did I would happily nip it in the bud and moisturize my face. (I've never smoked, drunk alcohol, or tanned, so that's in my favor.) Although I don't have menopause, I decided to give this cream a try. I love it! It's not greasy or sticky at all, at least for me, and it's thicker than the cream I've used before. When I apply it feels very luxurious and it leaves my skin silky smooth all day long which my other moisturizer failed to do. I got up very early this morning so it's been about twelve hours since I applied my moisturizer and right now I don't feel the need to reapply it. My skin is still soft and moist without a hint of dryness. This moisturizer might seem expensive to some, but it's not needed at all, so it's not as expensive as you might think. And the glass is not as small as it looks in the picture. This will take quite a long time. And believe me, I've tried the $400 moisturizer and prefer Vichy. The $400 moisturizer was just as good, but no better. Right now I only have a few superficial wrinkles around my chin, but I'm hoping this moisturizer takes care of that. If I continue to love this cream like I do I will buy the night cream and oil serum. (I currently use a niacinamide serum during the day and a retinol serum at night, as well as the Peach and Lily glass skin serum, but I prefer to use just one brand whenever possible.) This moisturizer has a very light floral scent. but as one reviewer said, the scent dissipates quickly and leaves no odor. So if you like unscented products, no problem here. This moisturizer is designed to combat loss of structure, sagging, dryness and loss of density. I have very dry skin and my skin tends to be thin. So sagging and structure loss is probably in my future if I don't start doing something now while I'm active. If this moisturizer works as advertised I will be a regular customer and very satisfied.
