Review on 🎧 S 808 SUB Black North America by Simon Nugroho

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I took a chance with a new brand and it paid off.

Let me start by saying that this is far from a basshead's dream kit. This speaker isn't for you if you want to hear your eardrums distort, your chest pound and your clothes move with the sounds. It's also not big enough for your huge personal theater to open a small shop. But it's just what you need for your small living room or personal speaker system on your bedroom gaming rig. The slim and upright shape is good for slipping out of sight and memory, the bass response is solid and thorough, the cover keeps dust out and offers basic protection while being fully removable, and the woofer itself has more power thanks to its size Size. There was space in the box. Too many times have I seen 8 inch subwoofers stripped of their capabilities due to lack of box space. It's a single-port speaker that ensures it's heard loud and clear, with the port facing down towards the ground. The amp and its connections are below where it sits and I thought it would be hard to get around, but the standard RCA cable fits perfectly and the included power cord has been specifically chosen by the manufacturers with this in mind to ensure it works well . This cord is short though, about three and a half feet if I'm not mistaken. It's not a proprietary power cord, and if you find it's not long enough, you can buy a new one for less than $10 from an unnamed company. The adjustable filter is excellent and has its own built in volume control as well as its own on/off switch. There's a small blue LED that lights up to show it's ready to play and active, which turns red after no input is detected for a while. It doesn't turn off completely at any point, and if noise is detected in this state, it simply turns the woofer back on without having to interact with it manually. This reactivation is quick and, as far as I can tell, has no noticeable lag.
